Should work, however S-Video is an extremely low quality signal (640*480). You would be better off buying a DVI to HDMI converter and connecting through that. OR buy a card with HDMI support built in.

Hope this helps,

Well most cards come with s video but don't expect any great quality of picture especially using so much cable. And yes the card you linked to has s video. Fabe

Thanks, there is just one more question I can't find an answer for: Will the card output separate images to the tv and my monitor, or will they both display the exact same image?

You can choose in your options whether you want to clone (Both display the same image), or extend desktop (Used for side-by-side monitors). You can do this in the control panel under Display>Change Display Settings..

Hope this helps,

I didn't know this was an option in Windows, I thought it depended on the video card. Thanks!

I finally got the card today, everything is working great so far, except for some apps that don't seem to like fullscreen with multiple monitors. The picture is decent, I would say about the same as digital cable. I'm sure I'll get all the kinks worked out soon. Thanks everyone for your help!

That card is obsolete - why didn't you go for a new DirectX 11 card like a 5450 or 5670? It is acceptable but from a hardware perspective, its obsolete.

The biggest reason was price. Obsolete or not, the card was very cheap and suits my needs just fine.
