Where have I been? I was using Windows XP since it came out. Just got the new laptop a week ago with Windows 7 and still learning about it. What a change, so much more you can do with Windows 7. This forum is like a self help guide and has helped me in many ways with questions I have. Thanks Windows 7 Forums, and if there are any questions I can't find, I'll be sure to post them. Although I do have one question: is it safe to download SP-1 now, or should I wait a few more weeks? :D

No. No, no. A thousand times no. What a bloody awful campaign slogan that was.

If I didn't know better, I would have bought an Apple because of that insipid slogan ;)

I would install SP-1 as soon as possible. Don't get in a hurry. For most it take over a hour and I recommend staying with the computer in case it needs your input. Don't do anything on your computer while this is going on.

Thank you Layback Bear & electrotune1200, I'll probably install SP-1 this weekend when I have more time to tinker with the computer. :)

PTD,
As others have mentioned welcome to SF. You are so right about this being the place to learn and share your knowledge. One of the main draws I have found are the quality people that frequent this site and the interactions that can come from it. Enjoy and hope to see you around SF.
