Installed Wow from a backup external drive which has never been a problem but..this time its not on my C drive its on my F drive as its a 30gb bloody monster and I have The OS on the SSD and only the OS (SSD is 60gb)
when I try to start WoW it won't launch...have enabled it to go thru the firewall in and out and tried running it as administrator and when I tried compatability as a last resort it told me it was incompatable..oh yes and since when is it?
Been playing it on Win 7 for months so thats a new one ty Bill.
Anyone got any clue whats happening here?
Cheers

Most likely there are registry entries that accompany the actual program files that tells it where everything is located.

There should be a file called repair.exe in the main wow directory, it should be able to check things for you.
