Solved wrong size pictures

I had a 19" screen and I have just changed to a 24" I have taken pictures with my tablet .and they filled the screen. now they only fill three quarters of it why and what do I need to do .

What is the recommend resolution of each monitor ?
19 and 24 is pretty generic description
You could link to the monitor you bought and to the older one and make life easier for us

But actually referring to the recommended resolutions would be suffice
The new one sounds like a wide screen and the old not.

Hi thrashzone thank for replying. the resolutions on the 24" monitor are 1920-1080.
on the 19" monitor it is 1440-900
