I need some advise I was told by a network engineer who I trust to scrub drives clean using dban on my NVR machine (I am in the security business I had help building machine Windows7 64 bit) because a port: 137/udp had been open a long time and compromised machine. Client got several letters from AT&T which is causing network issues.
Dban is not for me I burned disc and now it seems I need a floppy drive I don't get? Which free software might you experts recommend to help my situation? I have limit skills but should be able to follow directions. Just doing a format is not the same is this correct?
