I have a PCI-E problem with my Radeon X1300. I have posted a forum here: http://www.sevenforums.com/drivers/16665-windows-7-ati-radeon-x1300.html
So far even 9.1 has failed for my situation..![]()
You should stick to the thread you started for this problem.
X1300 are older and are probably going to have some issues. Try installing the older catalyst 8.1 driver but DO NOT reboot after they are installed instead go to device manager and find the old drivers windows was using and try to remove those. Be careful not to remove the drivers you just installed (Catalyst 8.1) This will ensure you do not have conflicting drivers when windows reboots. After the older catalyst drivers are installed and the other drivers that might have caused problems are removed you can reboot and everything should work.

... It seems that AGP x1950 is unsolved problem... Probably some big error but don't thing ati or anybody else will bother solving problems with old cards especially AGP ... i suggest stay with XP if you don't plan buying new motherboard and graphic card with PCI-E anytime soon ...
