Hello guys,
I'm trying to use the X360 Media Remote Control (this) with my PC (e.g., with Media Center) via the Receiver (this).

I googled, and all the solutions I read didn't solve my problem. Maybe I need to link the remote controller with the receiver somehow?

If anyone can help get through this, would be much appreciated.

I did, but I might give it another try. I was wondering: do I specificly need an IR receiver, or the receiver of the X360 controller (image in first post) can do the job aswell?

Are you positive that device works with the remote control? I assumed they only worked with the actual gamepads. If you want to use a remote for your computer, get one designed for that purpose. Rosewill sold one for $15 at Newegg recently.
