Solved Xbox 360 Elite Passcode Reset?

[Windows i7 920]

I purchased an Xbox 360 Elite from an eBay auction (for $100) and it has arrived. It's in great condition except for one thing: a parental control passcode is set. How can I reset this? I've done Google searches but only found trolling (i.e. cut some wire inside the case, etc)

go to console setting system info press lt rt x y lb rb x left down
if that doesnt work try


LT - RT - X - Y - LB - RB - X - Y - A - Up (on the D-Pad)
or...
The Buttons Sequence Is-
Left Trigger
Right Trigger
X Button
Y Button
Left Bumper
Right Bumper
Up On Dpad
Y Button
Y Button
X Button

Tried it 10 times and it had absolutely no effect on the system.
