xbox 360 streaming buggy/unusable

So I have rogers express, with the SMCD3GN router/gateway.
I have my pc hardwired, and my xbox streams wirelessly to it.

For over a month i was connecting to my pc using the xbox wireless adapter under the video menu on the 360. Movies and everything worked perfectly fine.

Now, after nothing seemed to change (though something somewhere must have), when i click videos on the 360, it takes a LONG time to load. I then see "daves PC". after i click that, it takes another LONG time to load the folders. then i can see the folders, and see all my movies/shows. I finally find a show i want, and it tries multiple times to load the shows, and just wont play them.

So, the xbox sees the pc. the pc sees the xbox, where is the lag coming from all of a sudden? I have upnp enabled, nat should be ok (but i didnt open any ports), and the firewall is off.
Any ideas?

update,

seems when i plug my 360 directly to the modem/router, it works fine.
Seems to me the wireless is having problems actually louading the videos. still no idea what would be causing this, anyone?
