Shared XP drives are shown on W7 machine but are not accessible.
The following are done for trouble shooting:
1)Shutting down AV and firewall, 2)clean boot, 3)Safe mode with network and 4)turning off "password protected sharing" on W7.

Any suggestion is appreciated.

I know most I will not be able to help you but for my information, are the XP's wireless or wired to the router?
Is Win7 wired or wireless.
I have similar network and searching for answers.

Thanks.

Yesterday I spent over an hour on the phone with a gentleman from Cisco support. I gave him control of my network and he upgraded and re-configured the router. Everything has been working nicely since. Sure hope it stays that way.

Good luck with yours.
