Xp mode printer

I have some XP software that I still use. I run WIN 7 Pro and have installed the XP Mode Virtual Machine. I have had to reload the VM on several occasions, with the help of the Geek Squad. Well, as fate would have it they don't seem to have anyone who is versed in that configuration anymore.
I don't have a problem loading it but don't know how to attach the host's Canon MG3522 (wireless) printer. Anyone know how to do it?
