I have 3 machines
1/ windows xp with sp3 sharing a folder out
2/ i can access the XP shared folder fine from a windows 7 64 bit version
3/ but i can't access the XP shared folder from a windows 7 32 bit version
xp shared folder has everyone permission set to read/write.
Would like to solve this mystery.
Thank you.
Forgot to mention the error, when accessing the xp shared folder from 64-bit version it would request for user name and password, i used the xp user id and password to login ok.
but the password and user id were rejected as invalid when accessing the shared drive from the Windows 7 32-bit version.
