Hi all.

In XP when I had several windows open from the same type (E.G IE, folders) than when i've point with the mouse marker on the strip to the right of the "start" button, I could saw all of the names of the folders in a list above.
How can I do it on Win7?

I think you mean cascading menus?

Get this;

Welcome to Classic Shell

It gives you cascading menus if you want them;

Hi Mike.

Can you give me an example how does it look like in Win7?

Sure, this is with the taskbar on the left side of the screen.

This is with the taskbar at the bottom of the screen;

Hi,

I think what you're after is the following...

  • Right-click the taskbar and select Properties
  • Then change the Taskbar Buttons to either of the bottom 2 options
Taskbar Options.PNG

As you can see from the image, by selecting Never Combine you get the labels of any open program, just like it was in XP.
