Hi everyone,

I have 2 HDD, One with XP and the other with W7

yesterday, after restarting W7 the dual boot option disappeared, starting with Xp automatically.
I repaired ,with W7 DVD, the boot and managed to start it again but the problem is that the dual boot option is missing, any thoughts on how to repair it?

I've istalled EasyBCD and what worries me is the fact that there's only one entry detected which is in fact the W7 boot's entry.

here is what the EasyBCD says:

Windows Boot Manager

Thank you in advance :)

EDIT: I've managed to establish a new entry for Xp with EasyBCD and now seems to be working just fine.

Also I have an old Windows XP Laptop for backup/occasional use etc.
Once you recovered the MBR to WIn7, it needed to have XP added back to Dual Boot menu as you found. EasyBCD 2.0 is the tool for this.
