ok with RC1 just being released M$'s said that they now are using XPM. It says it's available for ultimate and pro/buisness. Yet i have no idea how to test this item. I was about to just say ok bye bye 7 till it's finalized and go back to XP for some of the f2p games out there to be better for me to play but with this it may seem as if i might try windows 7 rc1. So anyone know where to find this/how ot get it?

I actually found W7 RC to be a more attractive gaming OS than XP, and I play a lot of different games, from Crysis and COD4 to WOW, psychonauts and beyond good & evil.

"F2p" (free-to-play) games are not a genre so I don't see how anyone can generally recommend games that are free to play are better on one system or the other. Do you mean games like Guild Wars or free indie-games? Because both seem problem free on both OS's.

What's sure though is that most games, especially modern ones, won't be completely smooth in a virtual machine. Because your computer has to calculate another OS which in turn has to process a game using the reasources it's granted, because obviously W7 doesn't go away while running the VM.

Now that my preaching is done here:

You need both files, just download them and install. If it doesn't work go to bios and check if your CPU supports VM's.

Also note that XPM has hardly any graphic and audio emulation. You won't be able to run anything hard on graphics (ie. games, video editing) or audio (ie. audio editing and mixing). It's made for corporate softwares unfortunately.

Believe me, I've learned it the hard way.
