Yahoo Mail Now Has "Stay Signed In" Auto Checked

I don't understand why, but on the login page you have to uncheck the checkbox.
Anyone speculate on the reasoning ?

Checked e-mail a few minutes ago and no check in the "stay Signed In" box.
Must have been a test run ?

Hi,
The say logged in check is usually checked for most webmail services,
Gmail has a little message that says For your convenience the box is checked
Yahoo has sign in cookies that last for about three days or so,
So unless you manually sign out your most likely still logged in,
