dont know if anyone can help but I would be grateful if you could, I have bought a new packard bell laptop with a Terabyte hard drive, I am sure Ill never use all of this in a month of sundays but my son guided me on my shopping trip for it, I only had the thing for 6 weeks shut it down as normal, the following day was greeted with a black screen and the message that windows wouldnt start. After messing around trying to get the thing to work with the fix it advised, and still getting the same screen again and again I gave up and sent my son off to pc world to get it fixed. they decided I had shut it down whilst it was updating (totally untrue) and when I told them this over the phone they then said it was most likely then because I was running avg free, when I told them I wasnt running the free version they told me that all avg's are the same and that my machine could have a miriad of problems and that I needed it restoring to factory settings and it would cost me £30 for this and £30 to get it backed up.... I refused saying it's new! he told me I could restore it to factory settings myself and left me the instructions.....
I did this mainly because I was angry at having to pay for something I hadnt caused and now I cant find my other half of my Terabyte! I only now have 500 gigs hard drive...which is a bit of a pain.....I think its lost somewhere in the ether.......does anyone know how I could find it again please, I am loathe to go begging pc world for any help again I am sure they will charge me for having to even speak to their tech guy.....packard bell refuse to help as pc world take on any repairs.......I dont mind but I saved up for almost a year to buy this machine as I am disabled and my laptop is my pride and joy, the machine works fine since I restored it am just puzzled as to where the other half has gone.......as you can tell I am not the brightest bulb in the box where computers are concerned but I try my best
anyway thanks for listening to my rant......
take care Linzi.....

Now that I looked at your pic more closely. It looks like there are 2 x 500gb HD's in your system, not just one 1TB HD So you can not right click on the Disk0 465gb
to open or explore, or get any kind of Sub-Menu screen ?
