For those that like playing games with their ps3 controller, get the cable, plug it into the port on your pc or laptop, download the offline version of the motioninjoy program, google it. Run local, of the motioninjoy program. Set up the control. (If its working it will install the ps3 controller on your pc. Ive tested this on starter windows 7 and ultimate.
then when you play your game, just set it up so that the buttons on the controller match the pc keyboard settings.

Tried using it with my wireless ps3 controller.
While it let me play sonic generations. No other game would recognize the controller... none of them.
Even when I set it to emulate a xbox controller.
