Your procuct key cannot be activated?

Hi, i just downloaded windows 7 rc2 from windows site, but cannot install it, because ive got error message: your product key cannot be activated.
You can still install it without a product key. When you get to the part that asks for the key just leave it blank and continue. You will get 28 days there after to validate. Once your up and running try the key again. if it does not work go back to ms site and get another.

I started it from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/default.aspx but the filename is the same.

No issues with the product key here either. Should be working fine for most.

I believe the only reason he had a problem with the key not working was that he had downloaded Windows Server 2008 instead of Windows 7, as these keys are for Windows 7.
