I heard about this a little while ago but just now, I stumbled upon the first video I had ever seen have an "Original" option after 1080p. (The resolution was 1920*1200, so no big difference there - but my monitor's still technically too small for it). 
Just thought I'd share in case anyone else wanted to see an example of it. Here's the video:
