Hey Everyone,

I'm not new to Youtube itself, but I am new to using it for my own videos. I have a company account, and I want the people in my company to be able to view the videos, but only the people in my company. Is there anyway to make the channel private, and only allow people invited to the channel be able to view the videos? I know you can invite people on the video's themselves, but you're limited to 50, and they have to be signed into a google account to view them, which not everyone has all that.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Hello shadow,

Youtube

After you've uploaded the video and it's available to everyone, click the Video Manager button near the top of the window or below the video box.
This will list all of your videos. Click the Edit pull-down menu next to the video you want to alter.

Then go to the Privacy Settings pull-down menu and select an option:
Public: The default. Anyone can find and see it.
Unlisted: The video won't appear on any Internet searches, nor will YouTube add a link to it on any page. In other words, there's no way for anyone to get to it unless you give them the URL.
Private: Only people you invite will be able to watch the video. You can invite up to 50 people--but only people with a YouTube or Google account.

Considering what's explained above, I think the best option is unlisted and then you would have to maybe have a private FaceBook group where you would post said link.

Cheers, Boris :)

Thanks Boris,

I was hoping there'd be a better way than that, you'd think with how advanced things are these days Youtube would have figured out a way to make a channel private, not just a video. I guess I'll just have to go that route. Appreciate your time!
