ZIO card readers

Have a 8 or 9 yo ZIO smart media card reader. Is NOT compatible with W7. When I google for drivers, I am linked to software that scans my PC, offers to fix outdated drivers for $40. So far all I have encountered is bulls**t.
BTW I am aware that ZIO was rebranded to Dazzle, same results.
If you go to microtechint.com the web site is dead. Clicking on "contact us", just refreshs the do nothing page.

Prepare yourself for the very real possibility that your card reader is obsolete and must be replaced.

You did not say what Windows version was the last one drivers were made for, but you can try to install XP, Vista, or Windows 2000 drivers in Windows 7 in Compatibility Mode.
