Zone Alarm Not Installing

Hi I just downloaded the zonealarm ver 9.1.007.002 for win 7 to my Acer 1810TZ that came with win 7 home premium pre-installed - not an upgrade from vista.

Turned off my win firewall, after disconnecting the wireless, and got an error that I need to upgrade to SP1 for Vista and would ZA not install.

Any idea what the problem may be or is this the price for being an early adopter?

Hi and welcome

Maybe it originally had vista on it at the factory and they did an upgrade. You could format it to get the traces of vista out of it

Not keen on doing a format and reinstalling as has taken me a while to set it up how Ilike it.

How could I test to see if it has been upgraded ?
