I have been all over the web trying to find a driver that will work properly for my Zotac GeForce 5200 Graphics Card. I have 19" Samsung Monitor and a Compaq D510 CMT.

If I use the recommended driver from Nvidia in my Evalution copy of Windows 7, I cannot achieve a full resolution of 1440 x 900 pixels for my monitor. I do get Aero with that driver, but I would much prefer getting full resolution from my card.

I hunted around the web and downloaded this driver instead... The driver I am presently using is this one... 169.21_forceware_winxp_32bit_english_whql

I have installed it with compatiblity mode and this appears to be the only driver that gives me full res on my desktop.

However, my games will not play in full res on my widescreen monitor. What I want to know is how anybody here may have gotten a driver for this card that gives them full support in Windows 7. I am still using the release candidate.

Can anyone help me?:(

Well, its all been a big misunderstanding. I had installed two games on my computer and they would not play in widescreen as they did on my wifes computer. We only discovered last night what the problem was. My wife had her LG monitor set in wide mode! I then installed Guild Wars and voila... a beautiful 16 x 9 screen! Its amazing how one simple misunderstanding can screw things up. Thanks
