Windows Photo Viewer - Slide Show on Secondary Monitor

Excellent post. I thought there is no such option available to move the slideshow to an external monitor.
Now my kids enjoying cartoon slideshow on the external monitor (SONY-TV 26") while I am typing this on the main monitor .

I have a question

I followed your instructions and it worked. However, the slideshow was not centered on the 2nd monitor. Using full screen will stretch photos and make them useless unless it centers the photo and leaves black spaces on the sides of the television screen, correct? When it is not centered the photo is all the way to the left and a huge black area is on the right end of the television.

Any ideas on how to center the photos when they display in Slideshow mode on the second display?

Simplest thing,

Open Windows Media Player
Drag it to your secondary display
Drag the folder containing the images on to the media player window
{now the slideshow starts to play!}
Double click Media player to view in full screen..

Neither suggestion resolves my issue. I want to watch a Slideshow on the primary screen while a video plays in Windows Media Player on the secondary screen. I tried the first suggestion, and it didn't work. Simply moving the WMP to the 2nd screen and dragging a folder there isn't my solution since I don't want to watch single images in folders on WMP, I want to watch a video already on a disk in the DVD player that is set to play via the WMP. The Slideshow features is fully separate and that is where I wish to have a slideshow of images playing on the primary screen. As soon as the Slideshow begins, the secondary screen indeed blacks out. I tried holding ALt., Windows Key and Shift and the same time while the slideshow started, yet this did nothing.

Definitely does not work for me, as described.
