I tried to upgrade from Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit to Windows 7 Professional 64bit and it keeps failing because it says it can not create a restore point. I follow the steps to correct this but it doesn't seem to do any good. Does anyone have any ideas?

Do you have another way than using Anytime Upgrade to upgrade to another edition of Windows 7?

Example:
- I have Windows 7 Starter (for example, not real)
- Boot from Windows 7 Ultimate disc.
- Click Install now.
windows-7-startup-repair-3.jpg

- When I reach this screenshot below, choose Upgrade option.
image3_thumb.png
- After upgrading, Windows will upgrade to Ultimate edition when keeping my files, programs and settings. And use Windows 7 Ultimate upgrade key as current product key to activate Windows 7 Ultimate.

Does this method work?
