VMware and Windows 7 in UEFI mode
Hello!
I found one option on VMware VM config file that I can enable UEFI mode on VM. Did anyone try to setup this and what is requirements for that ? Do I need USB memory to install it on VM or I can use .iso file, what I need to do ? (Note : My Host OS is NOT in UEFI mode, is this problem?) Thank you in advance. |

I know that. I enter "firmware = "efi"" in my VM file but I have a problem. I follow step 11 from UEFI Bootable USB Flash Drive - Create in Windows. Can I just with oscdimg.exe make ISO file and use it ? I try that, mount it to VM (from VMware) but when that try to boot I got error. There is no error just unsuccessful and countinue to try to boot from network. What I did wrong and how to boot from that ISO file ? Thank you in advance. |

I don't know what to do next. I have UEFI, VM is configured but unbootable from ISO. Iso file is fresh, I tried Win8 too but no luck. If someone tried that : Can you write steps how to make it work ? Thanks in advance. |
