    i have a question.

    1. if infected on this drive , can it ever affect OSes on other drives

    2. is it just limiting the functions and causing inconvenience of is it key logging and/or some other thing that can look at / access private data. ?

He didn't find anything yet. The pic above is a repost I made not of his system.

I'm sure there's something there Mike, He said he had a fake antivirus here,

    windows update fails

Also the MBAM report here windows update fails lists a few also.

I would have to agree with Tews on this one, imaging would have saved alot of time. And a wipe and clean install after retrieving your important data would be the way to go.

That's alright, I've forgotten my own name before, but that's another story.

Download DDS from one of these links:
    Mirror 1 Mirror 2 Mirror 3
    • Disable any script blocking protection
    • Double click the dds icon to run the tool.
    • When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
      1. DDS.txt
      2. Attach.txt <---this will be minimized in the task tray
    • Save both reports to your desktop.

Include the contents of both logs in your Next reply.
