    Confused with administrator name.

    Hi People.
I have a problem with the administrator name in Windows 7 Home Premium.
I had PC World/Knowhow (or is it Knownothow) change a faulty hard drive to an SSD drive and re-install Win 7.
Unfortunately they didn’t ask what name they should use for the first user/administrator even though they had my phone number.
They made a guess and used my surname, which I hate. Who likes being referred to by just their surname unless they have armed forces or boarding school backgrounds.
Anyway I changed the administrator name to my Christian name ‘Mark’ and that seemed to be that.
Unfortunately, the Drake surname seems to have created its’ own set of folders and have not changed to Mark.
Drake is still a user, Mark is not.
How do I create a set of mark folders and transfer everything from the Drake folders to the Mark folders and delete all the Drake folders?

    Folder list.
    C:\Users\Drake\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Virtualized\ Drake
    C\Users\ Drake
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Belarc\BelarcAdvisor\System\Security\BelNotify\ ts.Drake
    C:\Users\ Drake
    C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\User Account Pictures\ Drake.dat
    C:\Users\Drake\AppData\Local\Temp\ Drake.bmp
    C:\Users\Drake\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Cookies\Low\ drake@google[2].tx
    C:\Users\Drake\Contacts\ Drake.contact
    C:\Users\Drake\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\rgaewhhx.default\

    Thank you Brink.

I'll work through the tutorial today.

I didn't think to search through the tutorials. Sorry.

    Thank you Brink.

    Your tutorial is magnificent.

Slight delay on step 7, the rename would only work in safe mode.

Wish there was a utility to list all tasks using the object I'm interested in. Like on mainframes.

One downside, the shortcuts on the desktop have been converted into folders.

    Still working on that one.

I'll check the system out for a dsy or so to see if there is anything else falling out of the woodwork before signing this off.

    Looks good.

    Thanks again Brink.

There are just a few very minor things left after performing the administrator name change.
    .
A folder called the old name still exists in the C:\user\new name\Appdata\local..............temp files. I just deleted it

    Downloading.

dTa OneClick still shows the path C:\users\old name\Downloads\

Save file uses correct path C:\users\new name\download\
