windows update searching for updates giving errors

I have tried many methods to solve this windows update problem but all in vain...The last time I was able to check for updates and install it successfully was more than a year ago, at august 2015(after that i didnt try to update my computer for 6 months or so).Since then, I am not able to search for updates .I have tried resetting windows update components following brink's tutorial and also updated the windows update agent.I have installed the April 2015 stack update KB3020369,convenience rollup KB 3125574.I also ran sfc/scannow . It said that there were some errors and have fixed it.I have also manually downloaded and installed platform update KB 2670838 and also ran the SURT tool and it said that there were 95 errors and 89 of them were fixed. After I start searching for updates, it will continue like that for an hour or so and then return an error code.
These are the error codes I get -8024400A,80072EFE,8024402F,80072EE2.Someone told that these are due to proxy configuration problems but I have never used a PROXY at all. When checking for updates I also disable the firewall and antivirus program, but nervethless useless for me.Nothing seems to work. Can someone help me to sort out this problem.

I have also uploaded the reportingevents.log and windows update log from software distributions folder if at all it can be of any use. These are from the folder after I reset windows update components.I have of also included the list of updates installed on my computer before and after(mean manual installation) the error started occuring

    Hi,
KB3125574 would only apply if you were doing a clean install not for an older existing install
Only KB3020369 & KB3172605 would usually be needed to correct an older installs issues
    See post #2 here
Windows Update will not update and I've tried multiple fixes

Or for a clean install post #2 here,
    windows update
