Are all 3 Servicing stack update for Windows needed for Fresh install

Doing fresh install of Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit (service pack 1) & need to know if I can install JUST the latest Servicing stack update for Windows 7 SP1 (KB4490628) before proceeding with the Convenience Rollup & any new Monthly?

OR do I need to install the 2 previous ones 1st (KB3020369 & KB3177467) First. ?

Installing the Convenience Rollup [KB3125574] is the old method of starting to update a clean install. You would then need to install all the other WU's, of which there are 100+. Todays preferred method is to download the SIMPLIX pack and run that a couple of times. It doesn't install Telemetry updates or other suspect updates. You can then run WU's to see if there are any further updates that you need or would benefit your OS.

Hi,

update KB3177467 has been superseded by KB4490628. So you only need install KB4490628 and KB3020369 to update the WU servicing stack.

SIMPLIX - Running/Adding Updates Procedure

Download the latest SIMPLIX UpdatePack [for Win 7 SP1 x86-x64] from here => SIMPLIX UpdatePack.

Run the UpdatePack => click Install.

It will update your OS automatically [it will re-boot a couple of times during the update process which is normal] and DOESN’T include any telemetry updates or processor checks [disables/patches detection of processor generation and hardware support when scanning or downloading updates through WU]. It installs the correct USB3 drivers and cleans up when it has finished. It requires NO user input.

I downloaded UpdatePack7R2.exe 753mb .. But there was also UpdatePatch-19.9.24.exe 269kb which I also downloaded. Do need/use both of them?
Which do I use 1st?
