BSOD Soon after startup, error 1e FFFFFFFFC0000005

Is it absolutely necessary to burn the disk via another pc? I have the 3gb Iso and imgburn just sitting on my computer. All I need is the DVD-Rom which I believe we have buried somewhere (Moved recently).
Making sure the hardware works is understandable. If i'm in safe mode now, will I be able to burn the SeaTools for DOS to a disk now?
Memtest ran 8 passes with flying colors.
For like the last 3 normal boots i've gotten a BSOD shortly after startup. One of the times I tried switching to Performance Mode on Power4Gear.
Really would rather just get it all done on this PC because my step dad will shit his pants if I need to use his PC for anything. I'm 16 and have a bad history with computers (Curiosity gets the best of me).

Just let me know whether I can do all of it on my laptop or whether I need to use another computer.

If it will work then sure you can burn the disks on the problem machine as long as it doesn't fail and completes with the ImgBurn victory dance.

What is Power4Gear? It sounds like trouble since I've never heard of it here. If it's Asus crapware it's best you lose it along with all of the other duplicative bloatware. So don't reimport anything other than drivers which are missing in Device Manager after install and doing all of your Important and Optional Updates.

Read the tutorial closely to get it right. If you'll refrain from random reckless tweaking and instead use the Best Practices, methods and tools given in the tutorial, then you'll get and keep a perfect Win7 install.

Do I need to use diskpart?
In this guide it seems like I can delete a partition while in the Windows 7 installation?

Since you are reinstalling I suggested the thirty-second Diskpart Clean Command to give you the cleanest slate. Sometimes old boot code can interfere later.

But yes you can and should delete all partitions not needed during install as illustrated in Clean Install Windows 7.

I don't know why you're at unknown websites seeking advice when this is the undisputed top site on the web for this specialty. If you'll follow the steps carefully in Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 you will have a perfect Win7 install which with a backup image will last forever, as have tens of thousands of others.

I am a bit stubborn and don't pay enough attention to my sources. I will follow the tutorial you gave. Diskpart just seemed a little confusing and I didnt want to risk screwing anything up. I will keep you informed on everything but I may be busy for the rest of the weekend. Not positive that I have those Dvd-r's yet anyway.

You can also write the ISO to 4g+ flash stick if you have one handy.

Hey step dad found me two Dvd-roms. Both 4.7 gigs and 16x recording speed.
Running in safe mode seems to be my only option right now so will I be able to do everything from
safe mode or will I need to use another PC?
