Help Please-Factory Reset Error Message
Hello,
I am trying to factory reset a Gateway NE71B laptop, which runs Windows 7 and belongs to my sister, but she is giving it to someone else, so I was trying to do the factory reset for her using a set of recovery disks I ordered from Gateway.
However, while undergoing the factory rest process, I don't get any further than the second recovery disk when I get the following error message: "Restore failed-error code=0x5 (Access denied)."
It's extremely frustrating, because now I can't finish the restore process otherwise, rendering the computer unusable for the moment, and I don't know how to resolve this issue. Any help I could get would be very much appreciated. Thanks for reading.
