Hello, I have had my new notebook for a week now and random-ally it crashes without warning and then reboots, I have run windows memory diagnostic test with no problems found, I am starting to wonder if it may be a driver incompatibility related problem. Please if anyone could help me out it would be much appreciated.

Ben.

perfmon reports an issue with "regi" - please uninstall your copy of Intervideo WinDVD. The driver is from 2007, so it's likely to be a problem.

Preliminary analysis from the MSINFO32 file blames ewusbnet.sys - a component of your Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. USB NDIS Miniport Driver. Most likely a part of your USB modem. Please remove the current drivers and install the latest version of Win7 drivers for this device. If Win7 drivers aren't available, please post back.

The memory dump analysis confirms that blame is placed on weusbnet.sys.

Thank you very much John, I have uninstalled Intervideo WinDVD and upgraded the driver for my Huawei EM770W device from the computer manufacturer's website. I will leave my notebook on overnight connected to the internet and will post back here if it is still crashing. I have been afraid of doing any work on the notebook with risk of losing data without being able to save it before it crashes. Before I posted here I was going to reformat and start from scratch which is always a pain and a good day or 2 to get everything installed and back to how you like it.

Thanks once again John.
