BSOD issues - Windows 7 32Bit

Hey guys,

Been having some BSOD issues over the last three or so weeks, really ramping up over the last week. Has been coupled with numerous Explorer crashes and some major slow downs in performance too (slow down is a bit hit and miss - sometimes won't notice it at all, other times it renders the comp almost unusable, 30secs+ to alt-tab to a new window, etc). I've scanned for malware/spyware and virii but to no avail (which is probably a good thing!).

If it's relevant, I usually have a lot of word documents, pdfs and webpages open at one time. BSOD seems to occur at random.

Using Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit
It's the original install, came pre-installed on my HP dv6 notebook
Purchased the notebook a little more than 5 months ago.

No new hardware installed. Some new software about a month ago.

Any help would be much appreciated!

These were caused by your vfilter.sys which is part of your VPN client software. Either uninstall it, reinstall it or update it

Cheers mate, that was one of the suite of programs I installed shortly before the issue came up, but I've avoided uninstalling it due to work requirements. It's gone now tho,will re-install in due course.

In addition to yowanvista's spot on advice, you have a number of out of date drivers on your system. Out of date drivers, can and do cause memory corruption and BSOD's. These drivers will bite you, especially the old XP drivers. Update these drivers beginning with the oldest.
