Notebook worked fine until change in MSCONFIG and/or Windows issues
I've tried several combos of Logitech mice and keyboard combos. I settled on using my Logitech G15 keyboard and my Logitech G5 mouse. They each have their own separate programs. I also had a bluetooth combo, all Logitech. Everything was working great with my system then I think having all the mouse and keyboard programs caused everything to freeze up or work very slowly.
I also went into MSCONFIG to try to keep one of the Setpoint programs from starting. It was set to "Selective Start". It said the goal was to eliminate programs with issues and get back to Normal Startup, so I unchecked the Setpoint program and selected normal startup. That's when things REALLY bogged down.
I uninstalled EVERYTHING Logitech related, but I'm still getting BSODS and "Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown messages upon a very long startup. I did a system restore to a few days ago, but that didn't seem to help.
I will upload the zip file, snip of reliability record, and the texts of the startup messages I'm getting. Thanks.
2-27 - 9pm after uninstalling all logitech and doing a system restore
