Solved Numerous BSOD screens, have tried everything cant find problem!
The one on top seems to be the DVI port. A bigger picture (I mean a picture containing all the ports on the panel) please?

Yes it's the one on top. But I don't have the correct screwdriver for that tiny circle. I tried all my Allen wrenches nothing fits. Why would they lock up that port? Urggg

I guess this one will be the VGA port.

But that is sealed. Either get a set of screw drivers or call a technician.
I have a set of screw drivers .... one magnetic grip and a lot of driver heads with which I can deal with any screws ....

Ok the weirdest thing just happened. I was unplugging everything in the back tower to take the picture and here I was on the floor unplugging and I hear what sounded like mini fireworks. I got nervous and jumped up and shut my power from the power strip. It wasn't coming from my computer. Sounded more like it came from the wall. But I felt the wall and the outlet and all plugs and nothing was hot. Then I'm thinking maybe it was something else entirely that I heard and couldn't really tell cause I was on the floor behind stuff. But scared the hell out of me so now I'm nervous to turn my computer back on. I checked everything inside my tower and everything is fine and no burning smell coming from anywhere. Would a computer cause a wall outlet to spark even after I had just a second before disconnected the power from it? Am I being paranoid or is this possible?

Never noticed such an event earlier.
I am getting paranoid too ..... you should get the conceal wiring of the room checked. Really dont know what more I may suggest.

yeah it could have come from the speakers too, I have no idea. Right now I have everything turned on thats connected to that outlet and everything is fine and working. I just havent pushed the power button on my computer yet. lol I will try it again when my husband gets home, dont want to attempt it when I am alone! It was probably something else cause it happened AFTER i disconnected the power from the tower.....very strange indeed! :sarc::sarc:

I'd move it onto a table along with the power strip, open the side of the case so you can observe inside, plug both in with the strip turned off. Then turn the strip on and watch what happens. If nothing, power up the PC. If there is sparking or anything going on inside take note of where it is and shut off the power strip quickly.

Thanks guys. All seems to be ok. It must have been another noise I think. So I got the do not remove plastic off the VgA port. Do I need to check and make sure it's enabled or is it automatically enabled. Like could they have shut down that port since I had an external graphics card? Just want to make sure what to do from here. If nothing has to be done then I will plug my monitor into this VgA port and that should start up the onboard graphics correct?

Could you post a picture of the entire back of the computer so we could see all the ports? I'm concerned about the do not remove cover.

It appears that the connection port of the GPU is not VGA, but DVI. So the cable is also a DVI cable. You are to connect it to the DVI port of the motherboard. Look at the pins, it will be clear to you.
