I really hope you guys can help me. This has been driving me crazy for 2 weeks. My computer is 2 yeas old and I have never received a BSOD ever until about 2 weeks ago. I am very good with computers and usually am able to fix my own issues. I ran a memtest, a video card stress test, virus scans, malware scans, changed my power supply, almost everything you can imagine and still got BSOD's. I brought my computer to a repair shop, they had it for 5 days finally told me it was some virus's that were in my windows startup files. I brought the computer home and an hour later a BSOD. So I brought it to a different repair shop. They had it for 3 days and came back with the same thing, oh you had a few virus's but all should be good now, no more BSOD's. Supposedly they also did numerous deep testing on all my hardware and all came back fine. Bring my computer home and within and hour another BSOD. I have searched google for help and have done everything I can think of to figure this out. I refuse to spend more money on another repair shop when they dont seem to know any more than I do! I have attached my SF Diagnostic tool folder. Please help!!

Update your ATI/AMD display driver.
You can get it from the link in our forum, http://www.sevenforums.com/graphic-...alyst-video-driver-windows-7-a.html#post17671, or you may go to AMD Graphics Driver and Software and opt for Automatically Detect and Install the appropriate driver for your card.
ATI_zps0bc28aaa.jpg

During installation, you may opt for advanced installation, and install the display driver only, not the Catalyst Control Center.

Uninstall Kaspersky using Kaspersky Removal Tool. Use Microsoft Security Essentials as your antivirus with windows inbuilt firewall, and free MBAM as the on demand scanner.
Download, install and update those, and then run full system scans with both of them, one by one.

Let us know the results.

Yes, usbfilter.sys is a part of the chipset drivers.

Well done :) Let us know how it goes now.

This morning my computer screen went black and flashed no signal out of nowhere. The computer is still running but my screen is black. I tried restarting but still nothing but a black screen and no signal. After 10 minutes I turned it back on and windows started up. This was a problem I was having all week along with the blue screens. Any suggestions on what could be causing this? I am very close to reformatting because this is just getting very tedious and annoying now after 2 weeks and 2 trips to the repair shop.

Power connections and the PSU may cause such an issue.

But if you plan for a clean reinstall, go for it.

I just replaced the power supply last week. Reformatting is my last option. I have my own business and it would be a very big hassle to reformat. I just dont know what else to do or what could be causing all these problems. In 2 years since I bought this computer I never had any problems with it. Are there any other tests I could run to find the problem?

I have briefly read through this, so If I ask something already asked, just let me know. The screen going black would make you think either power supply, which you just replaced, or the graphics drivers, which you just updated, or the card itself. Also, of concern is that both computer shops you took it to said you had viruses. If, and that's a big if, you do/did in fact have a virus, you can get rid of a virus, but cannot repair any damage they have done. Try this for me please, it will take about 5 minutes. Click the start button, type cmd in the search box, under the cmd that appears, right click it and select run as administrator. In the box that opens copy/paste this into the box, sfc /scannow That is a system file checker which will scan and attempt to repair any system files. Also, please go to bios and take look in the hardware monitor section and tell me the values of the +3.3V, +5V and the +12V. Looking at your system specs it appears you have an HP computer. If that is correct they usually have a pretty locked bios. Do you have the options of changing ram timings voltages and frequency?

Malware Bytes came up clean, super antispyware came up with some cookies but nothing major.
I always use a clean boot, never have anything running on startup.
The event viewer is showing so many errors but the most common the past few days have been

The ICS_IPV6 was unable to allocate _ bytes of memory. This may indicate that the system is low on virtual memory, or that the memory manager has encountered an internal error.

The driver \Driver\WUDFRd failed to load for the device WpdBusEnumRoot\UMB\2&37c186b&0&STORAGE#VOLUME#_??_USBSTOR#DISK&VEN_GENERIC-&PROD_COMPACT_FLASH&REV_1.01#058F63626476&1#.

I followed all the things listed on that troubleshooting steps for windows 7 and when I ran a system health report and my "system service checks" test failed. Not sure what means.

You stated in post #1 that you ran memtest. Did you run it for a full 8 passes? Here are the instructions for running it properly. It's quite yime consuming but necessary when you start having BSODs, especially mentioning memory.
http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html
WUDFRd is a driver that is part of the Windows Driver Foundation - user mode -driver framework. I think I can get it to start, but would prefer one of the BSOD analysts look at it first. With 8GB of memory you should be having no shortage of virtual memory unless you turned virtual memory controller off.

I thought I posted about the voltages already, but can't find it. Those voltages are very bad and probably not correct. It says your +12V is 8.5V. If that were true, your computer wouldn't even boot. Your 3.3V is extremely low also. Try to download and install HW Monitor and if you don't already have it CPUz. Please post screenshots of the HW monitor page and the CPU, mainboard, memory and SPD tabs of CPUz. http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/9733-screenshots-files-upload-post-seven-forums.html

I agree with Steve (essenbe), those voltages look very low.

Update your System Specifications with Speccy, and then copy this information into your System Specifications: Go to your UserCP, and then select Edit System Spec in the left pane. Copy the information from Speccy into the required fields. These System Specifications will then follow your every post.

The voltages were like that when I checked them a couple of weeks ago and was directed to change my power supply. Which I did, and the weird thing is the same voltages showed up after I changed the power supply.... Not sure why....

I uploaded all the screenshots you asked for from those 2 programs.

CG1644, I am having trouble figuring this out. The voltages are definately off, with 2 programs. And I am not doubting you, I just can't believe that they would make a board that would not let you see the temps and voltages. Normally, that's where you go to get an accurate reading. The Tempn1 is 82°C. Now what that is, I'm not sure. it is usually either the CPU or Mosfetts, depending on the board is what I get on the internet. Going by your CPU temps, it is not that. But, 82°C would melt the board almost. Also, did you make a typo in your system specs? It lists your GPU as a 6770, but HW Monitor says a 5770.

Also, do you have a cell phone, PDA or camera or something like that connected? From what I can find out, that is what the WUFRd driver you keep seeing is for. But, it also will make that app crash, but will not make your system crash. So, that isn't the problem with BSODs.

Did you run memtest for a full 8 passes? Each pass is 9-10 tests. So it takes usually 5-8 hours to run 8 passes. That's why we always recommend let it run overnight.

Also is there anything specific you are doing when the BSODs happen? Is it while gaming, or ccertain websites you visit or certain apps you are using? Also, do you have an extra hard drive you can use?

Yeah I know it makes no sense about the power supply. Maybe I am doing something wrong in the BIOS....where do I have to go exactly to see the voltages?

It is usually the main page, or a hardware monitor section or something like that. Something you may try. It won't affect the voltages, but may help the BSODs. Go into bios and look at your sata controller. It will be set to AHCI, IDE or Raid. You have only 1 drive, so that is a problem and I assume they will not allow you to set ram timings, frequency and voltage. Go into bios and set everything to optimized defaults or just defaults is you don't have optimized. After doing that make sure your sata controller is set the same as it is now and selecy your DVD as 1ST boot device and the hard drive as 2ND boot device. Save and exit. See if there is any improvements.
