Asentis, What did you do in the meantime? There was a dump file in the beginning of this thread and there is none now. Have you run a disk cleanup tool or CCleaner? If so, they will both by default erase any dump files. Those are what we go on to figure out what is happening. Without them we can only guess. So, if you would, please run the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions again and use option 2 and press the 'Grab All' button and give it plenty of time to do it's job. Then post the results here, if you would.
Hi, thank you for your instructions, a few information for you guys hopefully it will help:
- my system hangs or freezes, if it's the same thing, I do not experience a BSOD, I did had it once when I ran Driver Verifier and I uploaded the dump file at the beginning of the post.
- will I get a dump file if I do not experience BSOD?
- I currently have setup a small memory dump, which one is best to have for you to get more information? Kernel memory dump, Small memory dump,Complete memory dump
- I don't remember running a disk clean-up tool recently, I may be wrong though
Also everything is fine booting in safe mode/ networking
In the moment when windows hangs my heat fan starts blowing at max speed and it will stay stuck like that until I force shut down the system

Leave it at small memory dumps. That is better for us. Lets try doing this. Just be aware it is perfectly normal for your computer to be sluggish and a little slow, but I want you to use it just like you normally do, and there are no restrictions. Do whatever you want to do for at least 24 hours of actual use. Be sure to do what the first warning box says before enabling it. Also be sure you have the installation disk or the repair disk. What it does is puts extra stress on the drivers and tries to make it BSOD in order to catch the offending driver. So, if you get a BSOD, for the first time, it is a good thing.
Enable all drivers not from Microsoft.
WarningBe sure to create a Systm Restore point before proceeding further System Restore Point - Create
Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable
Run Driver Verifier for 24 hours or the occurrence of the next crash, whichever is earlier.
Information
What is Driver Verifier:
It puts stress on the drivers, and tries to make the faulty driver crash the computer. It is designed this way, to attempt to trap the offending driver.
What you will notice:
It will tend to make the computer rather slow and sluggish because the drivers are being stressed.
Warning
Before enabling DV, make sure you have created a system restore point before enabling Driver Verifier. make a System Restore Point manually before enabling DV.
Tip
- If you fail to get on the Desktop because of DV, Boot into Advanced Boot Options > Safe mode. Disable DV there. Now boot normally again, and try following the instruction of enabling DV again.
- If you cannot boot in Safe mode, do a System Restore to a point you made earlier.
Let us know the results, with the subsequent crash dumps, if any.
Just had something similar to a blue screen more like an unexpected shut down/restart but it gave me a minidump which it's good, I attached the SF Diagnostic Tool Grab:

I think for the time being, just t test, remove Kaspersky and use their tool to do it. Service articles thwn install

I updated my internal graphics just an hour ago as I suspected something about it
Does removing Kaspersky means I cannot use it anymore as I have been using it for 3 years and I'm quite happy with it?
I updated my internal graphics, kept Kaspersky = still got the freeze
Uninstalled Kaspersky too = still got system freeze
I re-enabled Driver Verifier now to see if I'll get another BSOD
Can I re-install Kaspersky now since it doesn't seem to be responsible for the freeze?
I wouldn't. I don't think that is the reason, but I would wait until we figure out the reason, then reinstall it. That way, if it was only contributing, you could tell.
2 days since I re-enabled driver verifier and yes the system sometimes is running slower, but all this time no freeze, if I disable it, probably it will come back, I'm thinking to reinstall my windows now, although is running very well, was hoping to find the problem so I know the cause...
