Hi All,
Greets,
LeonAGFL : You should try out this hotfix : https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...urs-intermittently-in-windows-7-sp1-and-windo
It requires win 7 SP 1 already installed successfully

Thanks for the reply but it says that the hotfix ia no longer avialable.

What i found it can be a virtualization problem, i already checked in the BIOS if is Enable and is Enable is called SMV beacuse i have a AMD Processor, but other thing that i found in order to work correctly you have to Enable the option IOMMU in the BIOS, i Enabled the option but when you enter to the OS is seeking for the PCI drivers, it didnt found it and i tried using Windows update but it didnt found it. And also in the device manager i tried the option update to see if is able to found the drivers because should be installed in windows, but nothing happen. In this case i dont know what to do?.

Hi All,
Greets,
LeonAGFL :

1.Sorry, the hotfix has been taken down but it has proper replacement(s).
( The info came from a kind senior )
I need to know when you installed Windows Updates the last time ?

2. What are the Hardware IDs of the missing/unknown devices in Device Manager ? Did they appear only after attempting/switching virtualization in BIOS ?
It may come handy :
Device Manager - Finding Unknown Devices

3.Your idea of enabling/using virtualization from/in BIOS is prompt but i don't know much about that. Should you need any help/queries establishing virtualization, here is a dedicated sub forum:
https://www.sevenforums.com/virtualization/
You may post an additional new thread there. Don't forget to mention/link this thread/problem as well.

4. In your case, there is a good possibility that a proper virtualization may solve the problem on its own
or
the update itself solves the problem even without switching Virtualization in BIOS
or
you may need that hotfix(s) even after you have configured virtualization in BIOS correctly!

Now that you have intended to touch virtualization in BIOS, you should make sure that its done well there first of all. The first thing would be to install all the missing devices in the Device Manager properly.
OR
Come back to the previous status ( Virtualization in BIOS Turned Off, etc. ) & just try the hotfixes first of all.

Whatever You Do In The BIOS, Do It Carefully!

Thanks & Regards. ...

Greetings,

Well when i reinstalled windows i updated windows 7 completely and the problem of the PCI devices only appear when i Enabled the option IOMMU in the BIOS, because the Virtualization option was already enabled in the BIOS, the only option that i enabled was the IOMMU and that was the one which made the PCI devices drivers dissapear, the drivers that didnt appear was all that was inside of the PCI, but when i disabled the option IOMMU in the BIOS all was fine again, all the drivers appear, it only happen when i tried to enable the IOMMU option. But as i wrote before, in order to the virtualization to work properly you need to Enable the IOMMU option in the BIOS at least with the AMD processors, at least that what i found. And also where i can find the hotfix? beacuse i read in the that you passed me(https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2764302/0x0000001e-stop-error-occurs-intermittently-in-windows-7-sp1-and-windo) that if the hotfix is no longer avialable a will have ask to micorsoft to pass me the hotfix, i suppose that is what i have to do?. But thanks for the help i appreciate it. I also will post in the virtualization forum, thanks a again.

Greets,

1. Don't mix the two! I mean to say the hotfix patches Ntfs.sys which solves NTFS file system memory leak issue & the problem you are facing with missing device drivers on turning on IOMMU is a different one. Both are unrelated but as i said above one of them or both may be the cause for the BSOD issue.

2. We need not looking here & there for the hotfix because the latest monthly rollup update '' June Monthly Rollup 4503292'' has that patch included. But i think first you should sort out Virtualization & if the problem persists, we would make the related windows updates. We may need to take care of 2-3 updates.

3. I was interested : When you switched on IOMMU, some new devices appeared as missing or the devices which were all good became missing ? If you want to have a close look, This utility may come handy : Alternative to device manager of Windows
( The utility is not a true Device Manager alternative & good only for accessing some information & observe the changes )

As the weekend arrives, I hope to get deeper into the matter. I would be googling your Mother Board resources & Virtualization on/for your motherboard.
Parallel to that you should make post in virtualization sub forum & keep on your efforts.

And please share the information about missing devices' Hardware IDs or Device Instance IDs.

Thanks & Regards. ...

Greets,
As said by Sir torchwood, We can help only with genuine systems. Follow best practices, Remove those exploits & we will be able to help with new logs. The major reason for this reservation is that exploits create all sorts of problems.
Good Luck for the new set up but be aware that the newest of processors would not support Win 7 or 8.1. So, you will be forced to use Win 10.

Thanks & Regards. ...
