windows 7 BSODs ( mutiple) Please HELP

I have recently built a new rig with an ASUS m4a79xtd evo mobo and a phenom II 965 x4...i have windows 7 installed on it and ive ran MEMTEST86 and all checks out. Whocrashed has come back saying its most likely a driver issue but i cant seem to figure it out. Im kinda new to this BSOD thing. I am going to include minidump files and any help would be greatly appreciated. Also i have re-seated all components several times, updated bios... i mean ive done everything i can think of. Countless hours of online research hasnt helped me one bit. PLZ someone save me from this hell i live in . also my PSU is not the issue as i have used alternate power supply to test and still BSOD. i have also re instaled windows several time. Ignore the timestamps on the minidump files because i have reset the cmos many times to try and fix the problem. here are the minidump files oh and one more thing as well.....my card is a gigabyte hd radeon 6850 and it has been tested as well. I am almost certain hardware is not the issue. also whocrashed has told me that dxgmms1.sys has been the probable cause for at least one these mutiple BSODS i have been having.

im pretty sure i have sp1. It doesnt give me the option to download sp1 in windows update because it has previously been installed

According to your latest dump file, you do not have SP1 installed.

If you do not see SP1 as an option, it may be because you have not installed a couple of updates that must be installed before you can install SP1. Thoroughly read the information in the link I provided above and follow the links found there if you are having trouble finding and installing SP1. Be sure you read it all carefully.

okay i have a buddy who did my software installation and setup my OS. I called him and asked him if he had installed windows 7 with sp1 and he indicated that i couldnt install sp1 because my version of windows is not genuine. Little did i now this... ugh...looks like i might have to purchase windows 7....$199 on microsoft.com. I was under he impression that he had an OEM version that he had not used with his recent purchase of a pre-built PC. ....so in that case i am purchasing windows 7 genuine tonight as a direct download. I tried the BSOD Dump & System File Collection app....and it froze and gave me blue screen twice... i dont think trying it agian will help me....is there any information that indicated the errors are within my windows installation itself...or is there still a possibility that it might be a hardware error?

oh and btw....i am very grateful for your help......i have been so completley frustrated... $1200 on a new rig and it doesnt work right..... very depressing lol...basically all i want to know is that if its a hrdware issue i am more concerned about spending the little money i have left on new hardware rather than an OS...may have to wait till next paycheck for the OS if i purchase new hardware, but whats the use of a new OS when a piece in my COMP is bad. idk...i dont know a whole lot about these BSODs or windows for that matter. But reading and researching on the internet has been my biggest tool and i have 48 hours plus of research within the last 4 days. im crammin it in as fast as possible. I do game quite a bit, and most of the BSODS were actually while i was gaming in Bad company 2.....dont know if that narrows anything down...maybe a video driver or somethin? well..like i said anything helps at all and much thanks to anyone with info as to why i am experiencing these BSODS

The dumps indicate a hardware or hardware related problem (driver). However, two of the four dumps I looked at were corrupted and did not contain full information. The dumps all indicate memory corruption which can be caused by bad RAM, drivers, conflicts, etc. Also a cracked copy of Windows can cause BSOD's. This is not unusual. Only one of your dumps specifically blames hardware and it does not specify which hardware, just hardware. If I had to make a guess, I would guess that your copy of Windows is, at least, part of the problem if not the problem.

Here is what I suggest, get a legitimate copy of Windows. Install it. Download and install Microsoft Security Essentials antivirus and make sure Windows Firewall is turned on. Test your system for a day just like that and see if it is stable. If it is stable, start adding your programs and devices one at a time and test your computer after each installation. Do this methodically.

You can test your RAM with Memtest86. Memtest runs outside of Windows. Follow the instructions in this tutorial: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/105647-ram-test-memtest86.html. Let it run for a minimum of seven passes. This will take six to eight hours. If you see any errors at all, take your computer back to the person that built it. I assume you have a warranty. If not, you can do some further testing with Memtest. Let us know if you have errors or not.

Under the rules of the forum, we cannot help you with the illegal copy of Windows. But we can help you with the hardware. You will never be satisfied with an illegal copy of Windows that you cannot update and keep current. Being unable to install SP1 is a prime example.

i just went to my local wal mart to pick up a copy of windows 7. The guy on the phone said it was $119 for the retail full version and not the upgrade...i was excited to hear that price drop from the $200 quote on microsoft.com. So i got in my car and went to walmart, unfortunalty they are not very intelligent and it said right no the package "upgrade from vista"...ugh..so i am back now and am currently purchasing from microsoft.com as a direct download. I will get back to you on the details and let you know if i have an BSODS....thank you agian for your help...i am very thankful. If i do run into errors anytime after the clean install can you help me from there...and also i ran memtest86 for like 8 hours and it came back with no errors. So i do not think it was my memory. well i better get on this as i excited and anxious, yet still nervous, to see if this "validated" install of windows 7 fixes my problems.

so...after all the problems i seem to be having, yet one more has arisen, i have to wait till morning to pick up a copy of windows, as i went to the microsoft store online and it apparently they are updating the micrsoft store tonight so purchases are not avialable at the moment... One day of troubleshooting down...tomorrow will hopefully bring results...lol Ill get back to you tomorrow then......thank you very much one more time.

You are very welcome for the help. I am glad the Memtest showed no errors. That means that your RAM is probably OK. I say probably because no hardware test is 100%. I have seen cases where Memtest did not show any errors and, indeed, the RAM was faulty. You can also test your hard drive with this SeaTools for DOS which runs outside of Windows: : SeaTools for DOS | Seagate. I don't suspect your hard drive has a problem; but it is another hardware test you can do.

I, too, am eager to see how your system does with a legitimate windows installation. One you do your initial install, create a restore point and a system image. Win 7 has a built in system imaging program which works pretty well. I use Macrium Reflect (free version).

Next, install your important updates to include SP1. Especially install the security updates. I pick and choose my updates and I usually install them two or three at a time. If an update does not pertain to my system, I generally do not install it.

When you complete the installation of your updates and your system is running smoothly, create another restore point and system image. Now you will have something to fall back on without resorting to a clean install if something goes wrong down the road.

wow i seemed to have fixed the problem.....windows was not the "complete" solution, but im sure it helped that i bought it......installed genuine windows 64 bit and was stable for about 8 hours and then BSOD after BSOD. I went and picked up an MSI-870-G45 mobo and some DDR3 RAM... got home and decided to put the RAM in the mobo i had in already.....BAM..problem fixed so far....guess it was my memory even though i ran memtest86+ and came back with no errors....downside is that i downgraded on from 1600 to 1333, even though my mobo had already clocked my 1600 to 1333 by default to begin with. I was thinkin....maybe my first set of "suspected" faulty memory wasnt faulty at all....maybe my mobo didnt have the right voltage settings b default....idk....does that sound possible. btw thank you
