ok so its been a bit but here is my latest update. i installed the updated driver for the Ethernet and everything seamed to be good for some time but then it suddenly crashed (black screen) a day ago, and then tonight i came back to a blue screen. i have included the dump generated along with it. thanks again.
also another thing i have noticed is that i have a widget to monitor cpu and ram activity, and with in the last few weeks or so it seems the cpu has been going crazy.
Edit: and a second one this morning. (added to attachments.)

Still indicating your network adapter driver. Download Atholes L1E LAN Driver V1.0.0.18 for Windows 7 32bit/Windows 7 64bit--(WHQL) again.
To fully re-install a driver, use the following steps.
First, download the latest driver. Then do the next steps.
Click Start Menu
Right Click My Computer/Computer
Click Manage
Click Device Manager from the list on the left
Find the device you are trying to uninstall by expanding the appropriate set of devices
Right click the device
Click Uninstall (do not click OK in the dialog box that pops up after hitting Uninstall)
Put a tick in Delete driver software for this device (if this option is available, otherwise just hit OK) and hit OK
Restart your computer only if Windows asks you to.
Install the latest driver for the device.
Alternatively:
Login as an adminstrative user.
First, download the latest driver. Then do the next steps.
Click Start Menu
Click Control Panel
Click Hardware and Sound
Click Device Manager (the last link under Devices and Printers)
Find the device you are trying to uninstall by expanding the appropriate set of devices
Right click the device
Click Uninstall (do not click OK in the dialog box that pops up after hitting Uninstall)
Put a tick in Delete driver software for this device (if this option is available, otherwise just hit OK) and hit OK
Restart your computer only if Windows asks you to.
Install the latest driver for the device.
If that does not work, it could be your antivirus software interfering. You can try uninstalling the AVG software: AVG Remover. Download a fresh copy of AVG 2012 and install it again after you have uninstalled your current software. The current version may be corrupted.
ok so i tried that method, but it just runs into the same problem i had with the video driver. after uninstalling the driver i try to run the setup for the new driver but it says it cannot find the network controller i just uninstalled. so if i restart windows automatically installs its default driver (that i have no check box to delete during uninstall) and there is no way to stop windows from doing that. i have ask me when to install hardware checked in the system settings but that apparently means nothing. so the only thing i can do it let it install its old default driver then install my new one over it.
also i cant help but wonder if something weird is going on because i am just watching the cpu meter jump all over the place constantly.

Installing over the Windows default driver is fine. That is essentially what people do after a clean install of Windows in most cases, anyway. The fact that you are still getting crashes related to the network adapter make AVG the prime suspect at this time.
Download and install Malwarebytes, update it, do not start the free trial, and then run a full scan. Also run a full scan with your antivirus software installed on your system. If you do not have antivirus software installed, see the http://www.sevenforums.com/system-s...-system-security-combination.html#post1732627 for better security steps and scanning tools. Make sure to update the security software before running the full scan.

so i actually found a program that is supplied by avg that is for removing avg programs, it worked well for the most part. the only thing i cant seem to get rid of its the internet options. i had to disable the avg do not track add on for firefox, but there is no option to uninstall it that i can find. same goes for avg safe search but i cant even seem to find a way to disable that at one, let alone uninstall it. do you have any experience with that?
also i installed the new security programs and ran scans, nothing was detected.
so far no new crashes. fingers crossed.

I gave you the link to the AVG Remover in post #44. Glad you found it on your own, though. Let us know after you have had more time to do your normal routine whether the problem is indeed resolved.
