Wanted to get rid of XP...it all went downhill

My computer was fine. I was running XP and 7 on seperate partitions on one hard drive. Never had any issues with 7.
I had a stable overclock from 2.2ghz to 2.6ghz.

But the 7 partition was running out of space and I had no need for XP anymore. So naturally I deleted the XP partition with a partition manager. I learned from that mistake seeing as how XP was the original OS I had on it.

So I re-installed 7 over the hard drive, got my things out of the windows.old file and thought everything would be ok. But then after 1 day of reinstalling all my programs, I wanted to play Team Fortress 2. So while playing the whole computer would lock up and the audio would start buzzing through my headphones and it sounds all distorted.

Then I started getting BSOD's randomly through pc usage. I don't have any dumps because I reinstalled 7 YET again.

This was one of the logs from before:
Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.768.3
Locale ID: 1033

Additional information about the problem:

BCP2: FFFFF96000130C71
BCP3: FFFFF880053D2FA0
BCP4: 0000000000000000
OS Version: 6_1_7600

Files that help describe the problem:
C:\Windows\Minidump\031410-20404-01.dmp
C:\Users\Josh\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-37533-0.sysdata.xml

So while trying to reinstall 7, I kept getting random BSOD during installing. Some said "IRQL_NOT_LESS_Or_EQUAL"

Finally decided to restore my BIOS settings to default, take out a stick of 2GB RAM, and disconnect my 2nd Hard drive. The installation worked.

But today, I wanted to turn off C1E and the Intel stepping option in my BIOS and turn off the SMART fan so the my cpu would always run at max, and while trying to install a game, again the pc froze and the audio was buzzing and all distorted (I had music playing).

I put the bios settings at default again, the pc was fine, installed the game, but during installation the audio buzzed and distorted for 1 second, and everything was fine. Any help? Is it my hardware?

My PC:
Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 @ 2.2ghz
4GB of RAM
Motherboard: GA-P35-DS3L Rev 2.0 (I do not have the lastest BIOS)
250GB HD and a 500GB HD
XFX9800 GT XXX
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit
Xcilio 500watt Goodpower PSU

Everything has the latest drivers.

How is it that I suddenly have problems after a fresh install? Does this mean I can't overclock or even let my cpu run at max stock speeds?

I was just installing the latest LAN drivers for my motherboard and the audio was distorting while the cpu was under load...

FuzzButt, try downloading DBAN and burn that to a CD. Then boot into it and run autonuke to clean out your drives (This will delete everything).
Then try reinstalling Seven back over it now.

Are you sure I could still have conflicting drivers? When I reinstalled 7 last time, I deleted the partition through the 7 setup and made a new partition. I really don't want to reinstall this again.
