Desktop Icon Text
I feel a bit embarrassed to ask this, but though relatively unimportant, it nonetheless is an annoyance for me. I have my desktop customized to my taste. It has a solid background, and the text under the desktop icons is a plain black, thin lined text, which is what I want. However, on occasions, (for example if I fiddle with the appearance settings, to change resolution, or whatever), when I return to my standard settings, the text becomes a thick white text. The only way I have found to get back to my original text is to reboot. When I do that, everything is back to normal. I've looked and looked for a setting to control this, without having to reboot (or to prevent it from happening in the first place), but haven't found anything. Does this sound at all familiar, and can anyone point me to what is happening and how to prevent and or fix it?
