    Before you reinstall windows,
First try the Bluetooth in a USB 2.0 port on the back of your pc.
Then check the device manager for unknown devices and post the hardware ID of the bluetooth dongle.

    the hardware ids shows USB\UNKNOWN
under Device Instance Path it shows USB\BID_000&PID_000\6&AD99351&0&7850&&02

i searched 0000 as the PID and VID in the pci vendor site and the only thing i found that was related was something from HP

If this is with it installed in the USB 2 port then there is something definitely wrong with Windows or Drivers.

I would suggest updating your BIOS to UEFI, then clean installing Windows following the instructions here:
    Clean Install Windows 7

As for your second hdd, I would format it, but after you install Windows to the SSD,
Also during installing windows, unplug the HDD, this way the boot sector gets written to the SSD and not the HDD.
Finally make sure to download the network driver (LAN) to a Flashdrive and install the network drivers at the first boot.

DO NOT use the included CD/DVD with your motherboard to install the drivers download them from the Gigabyte website, you will need:
    Intel INF installation
    Intel Management Engine Interface
    Realtek LAN Driver
    Marvell SATA Controller Driver
    Intel® Rapid Storage Technology
    Etron USB 3.0 Driver
    Intel VGA Driver

You will also need the AMD GPU drivers:
Latest AMD Catalyst Video Driver for Windows 7

And the Xonar DG driver (Windows 7 x64)
ASUS - Multimedia- ASUS Xonar DG

i downloaded the uefi file from the gigabyte site, extracted it then tried to up but it says the vendor was wrong. i tried updating the z68xud3h.u1h file.

    gonna reinstall windows 7 now

i installed all the drivers. shut down the computer. installed xonar dg, turned on computer, ran the setup exe for the xonar driver and it still asks me to install the xonar dg.

also my asus bluetooth dongle doesnt work. asus must hate me!!

Do other USB devices work? For the sound card is there anything listed in device manager regarding the Xonar DG?

How long have you had the motherboard? There can be a possibility that something is wrong with it, but on the other hand something can be wrong with the sound card and Bluetooth dongle.

Do you have a spare pc or laptop to test the Bluetooth dongle?

    other usb devices work
no the xonar dg isnt listed in device manager

ive had the motherboard since last december. i went to an ncix store last week to check if my sound card is faulty and it worked on their computer. the usb dongle also works on my laptop.

im still under warranty by ncix. i guess i should ask to replace it. not sure what their policy is. im pretty sure a broken motherboard should be enough, hopefully lol

That would be the only explanation, I would recommend asking them either for an exchange or return since it is still within the 1 year warranty.

On a side note, I take that you watch NCIX Tech Tips and Linus Teach Tips on YouTube?
