Carl,

The HTC should come with a disk with the required software on it or have it loaded on the memory card in the phone, though as this is a phone from eBay you might be better getting the latest software from HTC direct Links to the software are on this instruction page

if you have a google+ account you can have the phone upload photos you take to your google+ account
