Why do people hate FPS campers?

Honestly, I don't get why people hate campers in FPS games. Aside from spawn campers, I do not see what's wrong with it, especially with capture the flag, or similar game mode. Many times, once the location of a camper is found, they are taken out quickly and easily. So, really why am I getting banned from servers occasionally for camping my team's flag in Cube 2?

Because they lie in wait to ambush you? LOL. I don't know I refuse to play on line games.

I don't mind it unless it's ALL they do, then it gets boring in my opinion it.

Because they don't put effort to look for you and kill you when you don't see them then spam kill streaks or just annoy you depending on the game. Basicly your playing the game looking for kills and they put no effort and one shot you with a sniper usually the preferred weapon of ppl who play like that. IDK how they can stand it, I can't stand being in one spot more then 2mins I have to move around. Game gets stale when ppl play like that and takes the fun out of the game. That's why they are hated so much.

Mainly because it's a tad annoying that when you get there before you even see him he already scoped in waiting for you every time to kill you.

It requires no skill to camp. FPS's that rely on camping to achieve high scores are not true FPS.

Camping requires no skill and getting killed by one doesn't really put your own skills to the test as well. This makes the game very boring because the goal is to get satisfaction from killing your opponent, while knowing that you actually tried.

I usually play CoD Black Ops II...

I accept campers only if they are snipers, but if they camp with a pistol or an assault rifle I really hate them... Sniper rifles are made for camping, but pistols not really...
They make the game boring...
