Hebrew Win7

Hello ,
My friend bought a mini laptop from Israel , and the problem is that it's in hebrew, and everything is on that side > for example the start button and the language is in hewbrew, and I really don't understand it.

How do i change it to english and change everything to normal? Even the writing is weird, it comes from this side < instead of this side > .

Might be tough since it's already in Hebrew..

But click Start > Control Panel (hopefully you know where it is, if not guess a few times) > Click the icon that has Earth and a clock > Then click the smaller earth and clock > The first drop down should have English

Hello Again,
I tried that :) The thing is that it even says the languages in hebrew! And when i chose the language in the dropdown box it changed the date in english ( i used the arrow key to scroll to find english) . Don't I need a language pack?

Hello lord, I just saw your post. I have windows 7 starter, do I reinstall it and put the same license key? It came pre-installed with win7 starter . Oh yeah, and one more thing, because it's a mini laptop it doesnt have a cd driver. :/ What should i do?

I live in Israel and I speak fluent Hebrew. I would be more than happy to fix this for you for free. I mean you should maybe look for the word אנגלית. That's English in Hebrew. There are probably many different kinds of English but anyone will do. After words you can switch it to the right form of English. It should be very close to the top. Another option is that you could send me an invite to control your desktop but that might be risky on your part since you don't know me. That's up to you.

No, it HAS to be INSTALLED in the language you want to use. Unless it is Ultimate, and even then.

If he does then I would be willing to help. Otherwise you are right. There's nothing I can do. Could he do a repair i.e. upgrade install instead of starting from the beginning?

Thanks, i have decided to format and reinstall windows 7 started. The problem is that I do not know where to dowload windows 7 starter from and where I can get the license key from as the win7 came pre-installed on the mini laptop.(acer)
