actually, I tried putting some pictures/videos on the stick, the pictures were broken and some pixels are misplaced or gone, videos are corrupted and unable to play. when I reconnect the stick, Pictures are gone videos are corrupted.
I'm out of options, I'm thinking now, does all USB sticks they are selling in that shop is this kind?
the picture that I'm saying is like this, I'm thinking that the stick is damaged, but HD Surface Scan and HD tune Pro don't detect any errors. http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/9/...re%20pixel.png
Did you check the file system using Partition Wizard or Disk Check?
Try another brand of USB stick. I recommend Kingston as their RAM is second to none and tech support is fantastic.
Then I doubt it's the stick. It is something about the formatting or the way the files are loaded.
I'm now thinking I better bought those cheap sticks selling here on a less 25% of branded price, one of my unbranded sticks serves me for about a year now from the 1st purchased, it just got busted when I accidentally unplugged it from the system and causes the failure. (PC won't detect the stick.)
Well I guess this tread can now be closed, unsolved ^_^
I wish you would have let Kingston tech support help you figure out the issues - they're very engaged with what their memory is doing or not doing.
Try the manufacturer tech support for the brand you have now. It may even be a known issue but unseen here by someone who knows the issue.
You should be able to clean all and reformat the stick that was unsafely removed: Clean and Clean All with Diskpart Command - Windows 7 Forums
