Need help on wipe clean while on System Recovery Tool

O.k. I have window 7 for a little over year and seven months ago which I didn't know that I needed to make a Recovery Disk to restored my computer like new. Here what I have problem with it almost 3 week ago which is Dec. 26, 2011. I turn on my computer and found it going into a loops in the Boot-up Mode and keep going to blue screen to black screen (Shown the picture below)

Well I take it down the Staples were my parent bought it from and they told my father that it has a viruses with an out-of-dated Norton which causing the problem. I bought Norton 360 and 500GB Hard Drive to have them to stored my info into the hard drive not to lose my info. I have my computer back today and have a friend make a Recovery Disk for me to wipe clean and recover my computer like new again.

Well here is the Problem, I'm very confuse on this part and there no option on wiping computer.

I was going to use Command Prompt to do a clean disk but I wasn't for sure if that help. It won't let me go to Login page to desktop, I try restarted it, won't go to safe mode. And I really don't want to pay $175 to have someone to fix it for me.

    Thanks, JPeck

Boot into System Recovery Options, accept any offered repair. If none offered or it doesn't start Win7, click through to Recovery Tools options to run Startup Repair repeatedly.

If this fails, you can copy out your files using Win7 DVD, System Repair Disk or Paragon Rescue CD freeware: Copy & Paste - in Windows Recovery Console
Paragon rescue disk; change drive letter; recover data

Then run factory Recovery: HP Recover Windows 7 Operating System Using HP Recovery - HP Customer Care (United States - English)

If this doesn't work you can order Recovery Disks from HP Tech Support, or use a Win7 installation DVD for your licensed version to clean reinstall with the PRoduct Key on COA sticker: Reinstalling Windows 7

gregrocker None of this work or cannot to be work cause I can not go to the desktop screen to use the star menu, recycle bin, and all the other stuffs cause the Viruses is not letting me. When truing on the computer is doing the normal way rite? Well, my computer don't do that anymore and keep doing the loops of those first two picture above. And on the Blue screen only give me four option which is F9, F10, F11, and F12. When I have the CD in for the Recovery, I was looking for to wipe out my computer and wonder if I can do that by using Command Prompt?

None of the steps I gave you require booting to the desktop. You can access System Recovery Options from Win7 DVD, System Repair Disk or F8 Advanced Boot Options menu.

Use the one-time BIOS Boot Menu key given on first screen to boot the Repair CD, or set it first to boot in BIOS setup as shown here: How to Boot your Computer from a Bootable CD or DVD - Boot to CD

Note that the System Repair Disk is not the same as your Factory Recovery Disks if you made those. They will set the computer back to factory condition. You need to boot those also as shown above.

If you'll tell us your computer make and model we will link you to the steps to run Factory Recovery from boot. It should also be listed on the first boot screen, which key to tap to make it start.

But first I would try to repair it by booting into System Recovery Options using one of the three methods given, to run Startup Repair repeatedly.
